Teacher Biography: Robert Rex
I am a retired art teacher. I taught for 30 years at the high school level and for ten years (two nights a week) at the junior college level. I also taught adult education classes at Visalia Unified School District in Visalia, CA. Also, I taught drawing at the local prison for two years (one night per week). I started my art education at Fresno State University, then, later on, I transferred to Art Center, College of Design. From Art Center I transferred to Long Beach State University where I got my bachelors degree. I then moved to the Chico CA area and got my teaching credential. Then I moved to Visalia CA and started teaching art at Mt. Whitney High School. After teaching for ten years at Mt Whitney, I was hired to teach a basic drawing class for the College of the Sierra's (a two-year college)- this in addition to my daytime duties teaching at Mt.
