Discover the joys of sock knitting in this beginner-friendly workshop tailored for those new to the craft. Join us as we explore the fundamentals of creating snug and stylish socks from the ground up.

Throughout the class, you'll master essential skills such as using double-pointed needles and knitting in the round, all while crafting a delightful pair of toddler socks step by step.

No prior experience with sock knitting is necessary, but a basic understanding of knitting and purling is recommended. Get ready to embark on an exciting journey into the world of sock making with us!


I started sewing, embroidering, and crocheting when I was about 10 years old. Started quilting when I moved to Grant County in 2001 and knitting shortly thereafter. I am in love with all arts and crafts and have taken several classes here at the Arts Center including painting, pottery, and felt applique. I love sharing what I have learned with others and am excited about being part of the Fiber Arts department.

PSCA cancellation policy: Teacher reserves the right to cancel if class size minimum is not reached. You will receive a full refund in this case or if the instructor needs to cancel for other reasons. 

If you need to cancel: Cancellations within a week of class start date will receive a 50% refund. After that a refund will not be issued. Our teachers and staff put a lot of work in to be ready for your class. If you need to cancel, please communicate with us as soon as possible.
