Candle Making with Jenny

Design and pour your own custom candles in this hands-on workshop. Students will create two 7 oz candles, one 12 oz candle, and a 6-pack of wax melts while learning about wick types, fragrance blending, color combinations, and proper curing methods. With 24 scent options and a wide range of color combinations, you’ll craft personalized candles perfect for gifting or enjoying at home. All materials are included. Candles must cure for 24 hours before lighting.

Participation in classes involves the use of art tools and materials. By enrolling, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with studio activities and agree to follow all safety instructions. Painted Sky Center for the Arts is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow provided guidelines. Adult supervision is required for youth participants as specified by class policies.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that plans change! Here's how cancellations are handled at Painted Sky:

  • Teacher Cancellations: If a teacher needs to cancel a class at any time, we will issue a full refund to all registered students.

  • Student Cancellations: Students may cancel up to one week prior to the class and receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than a week in advance are non-refundable.
    Our instructors put a great deal of time and care into preparing materials and lessons, so we appreciate your understanding.

    About your teacher

    Jenny Gregory is the Executive Director of Painted Sky Center for the Arts, where she brings a passion for creativity, community connection, and lifelong learning to everything she does. With a background in arts programming, education, and nonprofit leadership, Jenny is dedicated to creating welcoming spaces where people of all ages can explore their creativity.

    In addition to her leadership role, Jenny enjoys teaching hands-on classes that encourage both creativity and relaxation. Her candle making workshops are designed to be fun, approachable, and inspiring—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to expand your skills. Jenny loves helping participants experiment with scents, colors, and techniques to create beautiful, personalized candles.

    When she’s not at Painted Sky, Jenny can often be found playing with her dogs, watching sports, reading or enjoying time surrounded by nature.
