Furniture Refinishing & Artistry with Cassidy

Come learn the basics of furniture refinishing and artistry on a smaller, more tangible hands-on project creating rustic serving trays with all of the same techniques needed for furniture so you can then apply what you've learned to larger furniture pieces at home. This is a great class for ALL skill levels, including beginners, and you do not need to be a skilled painter to do furniture. At the end of the class you will have a beautiful project to take home along with all the knowledge needed to complete your own basic furniture pieces at home. All materials will be provided in a super laid back, casual class setting open for questions with alcoholic beverages available for purchase on site. In this class you will learn:

• How to properly assess and prep your item with the various styles of primers.

• How to apply decoupage images and blend them out with paint for a seamless look.

• The differences in paint types and their various uses along with stains and sealers.

• How to pre-drill and properly install hardware to avoid damaging your pieces.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change! Here's how cancellations are handled at Painted Sky:

• Teacher Cancellations: If a teacher needs to cancel a class at any time, we will issue a full refund to all registered students.

• Student Cancellations: Students may cancel up to one week prior to the class and receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than a week in advance are non-refundable.
  Our instructors put a great deal of time and care into preparing materials and lessons, so we appreciate your understanding.
