Get ready to pour, tilt and create! In this fluid art up‑cycling workshop with Stephanie!

Re-purpose an unwanted glass bowl into something beautiful and useful! In this class you’ll explore the magic of split‑cup pouring to craft two unique works of art. We’ll start by pouring colorful acrylics into special split cups and letting them swirl across a glass piece, creating mesmerizing cells, waves and color combinations. Instead of discarding the runoff, you’ll capture it on a canvas, turning what might have been waste into a second finished piece. You’ll leave with both your glass piece and a coordinating canvas; two original, one‑of‑a‑kind creations. You are welcome to bring your own glass piece to transform, or use one of ours! Wear clothes that can get messy and bring a playful spirit! Two class sessions are necessary, to allow for creating, drying, and finishing of your works of art.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned painters! This class focuses on creativity, sustainability and enjoying the process together!

About Your Instructor

Stephanie Doster

Brings creativity, care, and curiosity to everything she does. Living in Prairie City with her four-legged sidekick, Jasper, Stephanie has a long-standing passion for transforming unwanted or overlooked items into something fun, colorful, and useful. Tie-dye and upcycled fluid art projects are among her favorite ways to blend play, sustainability, and self-expression.

Alongside her creative work, Stephanie has spent over 30 years as an Occupational Therapist and also provides health and wellness coaching. Her background gives her a thoughtful, inclusive approach to teaching, meeting people where they are and encouraging exploration without pressure. She has a strong interest in alternative and holistic treatment approaches, which naturally carries over into her art practice.

When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find Stephanie gardening, hiking with Jasper, or heading out on an extended road trip to discover hot springs and other beautiful natural places. In her Fluid Art Upcycling class, Stephanie invites students to experiment, reuse, and enjoy the process leaving with original artwork and a renewed appreciation for creative possibilities.
