Ceramics Lessons
Do you learn better one-on-one? This is an opportunity to have individual instruction throwing on the potter's wheel. An hour of private instruction paired with Open Studio time can be a huge boost to your confidence and throwing skills! This time can be tailor made for where you are on your potter's journey - from green beginners to potters looking for more advanced techniques such as lids, handles, sets, glazing techniques, and more.
This is for a 1.5 hour group lesson with Genevieve.
*Does not include purchase of clay or firing tickets.

About your teacher
After being introduced to pottery in high school, I pursued my interest in ceramic arts at Bennington College in Vermont, a school with a deep history in ceramic where I received my B.A. in ceramics. During that time, I also worked in a ceramics factory underglazing literally hundreds of pots a day! I also interned at the Capitol Children’s Museum in Washington D.C. and created a ceramic studio and program. I began teaching hand building and wheel thrown pottery at Painted Sky in 2022 and am continually inspired by the Art Center’s amazing community!
