Introduction to Wire Wrapping

Got rocks? Let’s wrap! In this fun introduction to wire wrapping class, you will learn the basics of making wire wrapped art pieces.

You will discover the various types of wire, wire gauge, tools needed and how to properly work with them to design your own art creation. Bring your own item to wrap or use one of our provided objects to create a piece of art that can be worn or displayed as desired.

You will get to take home one to two completed wire wrapped pieces of art. If you have tools you may bring them, but basic tools will be available for students to share.

Ages: Under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult

Skill Level: Beginners

About your teacher

Rachelle has been an artist all her life, with a passion for turning stones into wearable art. As a rock hound, she found joy in wire-wrapping and has been creating jewelry, painting, beaded arts, and more for years. What started as a hobby soon became a therapeutic and confidence-boosting venture, allowing her to supplement her income as a single mom. Rachelle is excited to share her love for this craft and help others create their own beautiful pieces.
