Fire Coasters!
Get ready for some fiery fun with this creative outdoor art activity at Painted Sky! Students will use Sharpies to decorate ceramic tiles, then spray them with rubbing alcohol and—with careful adult supervision—watch the colors swirl and blend as the tiles are briefly set on fire. The result? A one-of-a-kind coaster they get to take home!
Kids ages 15 and up may assist with the fire portion with a signed parent/guardian permission & liability waiver and close adult supervision.

About your teacher
Hi there! My name is Taysha, and I have lived here in Grant County for about 3 years. I have extensive experience working with youth, and helped coordinate the SFSP meal program for 2 summers. I am adventurous, though deathly allergic to pollen. I love being with my animals, doodling, and hiking. I am eager and quick to learn, and am happy to be on the Painted Sky team!
